Eligibility

Class XII (or equivalent) in science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Maths), with at least 60% marks in aggregate. Final year +2 students, who expect their final results by May 31, 2023, can also apply.

Selection Process

The selection of the candidates shall be done based on written test (Xavier Engineering selection Test) and personal interview along with their academic performance in class 10 and class 12 examinations. Candidates with exceptional records, e.g., 75+% in JEE (Main) or exceptional diploma-holder seeking lateral entry to 1st/2nd year, can be considered for direct admission. The university reserves the right to change the selection criteria in order to attract the bright and deserving students of the country.

Program Details

The B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year, full-time program designed to provide ample opportunity for students to learn coding languages, develop and analyze algorithms, understand systems, and implement software in various programming languages and platforms.

Program objective:

The objective of the program is to shape young students with specialized knowledge for grooming them as passionate coders, designers, researchers and entrepreneurs.

Admission Procedure

Applicants are required to fill-up the application form online at: www.xavieruniversity.org . Proper weights are assigned to the performance in the class 10 and 12 examinations.

Salient Features

Students with 85% marks in aggregate in +2 examination will be provided 50% course/tuition fee waiver only at the time of admission. This offer will be continued if the student secures a minimum CGPA of 8.0 in each of the subsequent years.
Meritorious Scholarship - topper of each university program at the end of the year will get scholarship worth 50% course/tuition fee waiver.
Scholarship for the SC/ST/ECONOMICALLY BACKWARD/MINORITY student - 3 each/year/ program with 50% course/tuition fee waiver.
The career advancement courses like MBA coaching (CAT, XAT etc.), CA, CS, Indian Civil Services (IAS, IFS, IPS etc.) will be made available on campus (on payment basis).

Hostel Facilities

Limited hostel facilities are available. Preference will be given to students coming from outside Bhubaneswar.
